How It Works
1ST STAGE: PRE FILTER – MICRO ZTM
Zeolites are widely used as ion-exchange beds in domestic and commercial water purification.
They have the ability to remove water hardness and up to 5 microns of unwanted particles.
2ND STAGE: KDF MEDIA
KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) process media are high-purity copper-zinc granules that reduce contaminants in water using an oxidation/reduction (redox) reaction.
The KDF process media removes chlorine, iron, hydrogen sulfide, lead, mercury, calcium carbonate, magnesium, chromium, and bacteria.
3RD STAGE: ACTIVATED CARBON
Water containing chlorine passes through a bed of granular activated carbon.
Chlorine reacts with the activated carbon and is neutralized. Naturally occurring organic compounds, which can cause taste and odor, are adsorbed onto the surface of the carbon granules.
4TH STAGE: ION EXCHANGE RESIN
Fine mesh resin is used to increase efficiency to remove water hardness, Calcium, and Magnesium. It improves performance in high Iron content water.
METERED CONTROL VALVE
Our metered control valve regenerates in an up-flow pattern based on water usage to conserve water and reduce salt requirements.
The Aquafeel System has a self-cleaning method and keeps the media from compacting. This is a very important feature that other systems do not offer.
BRINE TANK
The Aquafeel System Performs Maintenance Cycles Automatically Every Two Weeks.
This process is controlled by an intelligent Control Valve located on the head of the Aquafeel system and a brine tank.
This allows for the media to be regenerated, allowing the Aquafeel system to have a lifetime warranty.
